The activities of the Lucis Trust include the worldwide financial
support of the Arcane School, the Lucis Publishing Companies,
World Goodwill, Triangles, Lucis Trust Libraries and Lucis
Productions.
The
Arcane School
The Arcane School was created by Alice A. Bailey in 1923 as a
training school for adult men and women in meditation techniques
and the development of spiritual potentiality. The School
provides sequential courses of study and meditation, and
practical training in group service.
The Arcane School is conducted by correspondence through
headquarters in New York, London, Geneva and Buenos Aires.
The Arcane School is nonpolitical and nonsectarian. All are
served. Since 1923 tens of thousands of students have taken
advantage of the training.
No charges are made by the School for its services. The work is
financed through the Lucis Trust by the voluntary contributions
of students and those interested in the work of the School and in
the teaching. Each gives according to personal circumstances.
Lending
Libraries
The Lucis Trust maintains lending libraries of esoteric and
occult books covering a wide variety of classifications. The
libraries are maintained by voluntary donations only; books may
be borrowed by mail.
The
Lucis Publishing Companies
The Lucis Publishing Company of New York and the Lucis Press Ltd.
of London, England publish the books written by Alice A. Bailey.
The books have a wide distribution in the English language all
over the world and have been translated and published in the main
European languages. They are also being translated and published
in other languages of the world.
Publication of the books is financed through a revolving Fund
under the administration of the Lucis Trust in order to provide
for reprinting. Monies contributed to this Fund have been used
several times over. No royalties are paid, and copyrights are
owned by the Lucis Trust.
The Beacon magazine is published bimonthly by the Lucis Press.
This is a magazine of esoteric philosophy presenting the
principles of the Ageless Wisdom teaching as a contemporary way
of life.
Triangles
Triangles was founded in 1937 to stimulate the growth of right
human relations by uniting like-minded men and women of goodwill
in a spiritual service.
Triangles is an activity of the mind, using the power of thought
and of prayer to invoke light and goodwill for all humanity. The
work is done by units of three people linked in a worldwide
Network.
The work is financed by the voluntary donations of Triangles
workers to the Lucis Trust.
World
Goodwill
World Goodwill was established in 1932.
The overall purpose of World Goodwill is the establishment of
right human relations through the practical application of the
principle of goodwill.

women of goodwill concerned to maintain and expand this world
service to humanity.
Lucis
Productions
Lucis Productions produces radio and video programs based on the
principles of the Ageless Wisdom. Radio programs include such
topics as meditation, the new world order, spiritual values, and
death and dying. Video productions offer interviews with a number
of representatives of service organisations as well as material
on the esoteric work of the Lucis Trust.
Audio and radio programs are offered on cassettes on a donation
basis. Video programs may be purchased or obtained by loan
through the Library. A complete list of audio, radio and video
programs is available on request.
Purposes
The world activities of the Lucis Trust are dedicated to the
establishment of right human relations. They promote the
education of the human mind towards recognition and practice of
the spiritual principles and values upon which a stable and
interdependent world society may be based.
The Lucis Trust is nonpolitical and nonsectarian. It sponsors no
special creed or dogma. The motivating impulse is love of God,
expressed through love of humanity and service of the human race.
Creation
and Operation
The Lucis Trust was incorporated in the United States in 1922. It
is officially recognised by the Federal Government and by various
State Governments as tax-exempt.
The Lucis Trust is not endowed. It is a non-profit world service
organisation receiving and using monies to promote activities
concerned with the establishment of right human relations and
world cooperation and sharing.
The Lucis Trust is registered in Great Britain, in Holland and in
Germany. It has bank accounts or financial agents in many other
countries, including Geneva, Switzerland, where the European
headquarters of the work is established.
The financial and legal affairs of the Lucis Trust are controlled
by an international Board of Trustees, aided by additional
Trustees and elected Officers and members in different countries.
Enough men and women of goodwill working to create the new world
order of brotherhood, cooperation, and right relationship, can
defeat the forces of materialism and liberate a sense of shared
responsibility for human welfare within the hearts and minds of
all people.
Lucis Trust is on the Roster of the United Nations Economic and
Social Coucil.
